Chap. 70.—An ACT to authorize the Virginia Conservation Commission to convey
certain land to Arlington County, Virginia; and to prescribe the limitations im-
posed upon and reservations incident to the conveyance of such land. [S 82]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Virginia Conservation Commission be, and it is hereby
authorized to convey without consideration, to Arlington County, Vir-
ginia, for use for park purposes only, all that real estate situated in Ar-
lington County, Virginia described in a certain deed from Constance A.
Backus and J. Blake Schaaff, Trustees, to the State Commission on Con-
servation and Development, bearing date of February tenth, nineteen hun-
dred and thirty-six, and recorded in the Clerk’s office of the circuit court
of Arlington County, Virginia, on the twenty-sixth day of August, nine-
teen hundred and thirty-six. If such land, or any part thereof, shall be
used otherwise than for park purposes, the right and title to such land
shall revert to the Virginia Conservation Commission.
