Chap. 359.—An ACT to amend the Game, Inland Fish and Dog Code of Virginia,
by adding one new section numbered 36-b, relating to killing or attempting to
kill deer at night, and providing for certain forfeitures of property under cer-
tain circumstances. [S 133]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Game, Inland Fish and Dog Code of Virginia, be
amended by adding one new section numbered thirty-six-b, as follows:
Section 36-b. Confiscation of vehicle, boat or firearm, used in killing
or attempting to kill deer at unlawful hours. —Every vehicle, boat and/or
firearm’ used with the knowledge or consent of the owner thereof, in
killing or attempting to kill deer between a half hour after sunset on any
day and a half hour before sunrise the following day, and every vehicle
and/or boat used in the transportation of the carcass, or any part thereof,
of a deer so killed shall be forfeited to the Commonwealth, and upon
being condemned as forfeited in proceedings under chapter one hundred
thirty-one of the Code of Virginia the proceeds of sale disposed of accord-
ing to law.
