Chap. 239.—An ACT to amend Section 860 of the Code of Virginia so as to change
the corporate name and style ot “The Board ot Visitors of the Virginia Agri-
cultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute” to the corporate
name and style of “Virginia Polytechnic Institute”. [S 182]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That section eight hundred and sixty of the Code of Virginia
be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

The said board of visitors shall be and remain a corporation under
the name and style of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and shall at
all times be under the control of the General Assembly. All acts and
parts of acts and statutes relating to the Virginia Agricultural and
Mechanical College, or to the board of visitors of the Virginia Agricul-
tural and Mechanical College, or to the’ Virginia Agricultural and Me-
chanical College and Polytechnic Institute or the board of visitors of the
Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute,
shall be construed as relating to the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
