Chap. 200.—An ACT to authorize the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries
to harvest and sell timber from its land under certain circumstances. [H 341]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. Whenever deemed necessary or expedient so to do the Commis-
sion of Game and Inland Fisheries is authorized and empowered to
manage and harvest timber on its lands in accordance with the best timber
and game management practices, and to sell the same. Before any such
sale shall be made the State Forester or his deputy shall furnish the
Commission with an estimate of value of such timber.
In the event of a sale of the timber, the proceeds shall be deposited
in the State Treasury to the credit of the Game Protection Fund.
