507 of the Acts of Assembly of 1928, approved March 27, 1928, and known as
the Virginia Banking Act, so as to require examinations of banks once in each

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That section twenty-five, as amended, of Chapter five hundred
seven of the Acts of Assembly of nineteen hundred twenty-eight, ap-
proved March twenty-seventh, nineteen hundred twenty-eight, and known
as the Virginia Banking Act, be amended and re-enacted, as follows:
Section 25. Directors’ examinations.—The directors shall, at least
once in each calendar year, cause an examination to be made of the bank,
and a settlement to be made of the accounts of the cashier, a statement
of which examination and settlement shall be recorded with the pro-
ceedings of the board.
