Chap. 166.—An ACT to provide for payment of certain per diem compensation and
expenses to certain members of the Virginia Parole Board for a certain period,
and declaring an emergency. [H 102]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

I. Each member of the Virginia Parole Board except the chairman
shall be entitled to receive a per diem of fifteen dollars a day and ex-
penses for each day or portion thereof during which he is engaged in
the performance of his duties as a member of the Board for not ex-
ceeding seventy-five days between January one and June thirty, nineteen
hundred forty-four.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
