of counties may make appropriations for the upkeep of certain cemeteries.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new section numbered
twenty-seven hundred and thirty-four-b, as follows:

Section 2734-b. The boards of supervisors or other governing
bodies of the counties are hereby authorized to make appropriation in
such sums and at such times as to them may seem proper, for the care
and upkeep of any cemetery or cemeteries in their respective counties
wherein free burial space is provided. ,
