Chap. 439.—An ACT to authorize and empower the State Prison Board to grant
to Virginia Electric and Power Company certain easements of right of way on,
over and across the State Penitentiary Farm in Goochland County, Virginia.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
State Prison Board be and it hereby is authorized and empowered to
grant and convey unto Virginia Electric and Power Company, its suc-
cessors and assigns, upon such terms and conditions as said Board may
deem proper, easements of right of way for the construction, maintenance
and operation of electric light and power lines on, over and across the
State Penitentiary Farm in Goochland County, Virginia. The instrument
so granting and conveying said easements of right of way shall be signed
and executed in such manner and form.as may be authorized and directed

by the said State Prison Board, provided, however, that the instrument
granting and conveying such right of way shall provide for the reversion
of the easement to the Commonwealth of Virginia in the event of abandon-
ment of the easement by the Virginia Electric and Power Company or its
assigns.
