Chap. 265.—An ACT to authorize the Trustees of the Religious Congregation of
the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, at the town of Bedford, in the State of
Virginia, to convey certain real estate to The Home Corporation of the Virginia
Conference. [S B 225]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, as follows:
Section 1. The Trustees of the Religious Congregation of the
Methodist Episcopal Church, South, at the town of Bedford, in the State
of Virginia, are hereby authorized and empowered to execute and deliver
a proper deed conveying to The Home Corporation of the Virginia Con-
ference a certain lot of land, with the improvements thereon and the
appurtenances thereunto belonging, situate at the northwest corner of
Crenshaw and Washington Streets, in the town of Bedford, Virginia,
and more particularly described in a deed from Manly B. Luck, unmar-
ried, to The Trustees of the Religious Congregation of the Methodist
Episcopal Church, South, dated March sixteenth, nineteen hundred and
twenty-eight, and recorded in the Clerk’s office of the circuit court of
Bedford county, Virginia, in deed book one hundred and fifty-two, at
page two hundred and eighty-seven.
Section 2. The said real estate, when conveyed to The Home
Corporation of the Virginia Conference as herein authorized, shall be
held by the said corporation subject to all the trusts and with all the
powers and authority imposed or conferred upon the trustees under the
said deed from Manly B. Luck, unmarried.
