Chap. 23.—An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a new section there-
to to be numbered 5058-a relating to the transfer of inmates of the Virginia
Industrial School for Colored Girls to the State Industrial Farm for Women.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new section numbered
5058-a which shall read as follows:
Section 5058-a. Whenever in the opinion of the superintendent and
the Board of Directors for the Virginia Industrial School for Colored
Girls, a ward of their school is dangerous to the morals of the school
because of her behavior and advanced age, she may, with the consent of
the superintendent of the State Industrial Farm for Women be trans-
ferred to said farm, and when so transferred a per diem allowance of
sixty cents shall be allowed out of the criminal fund.

2. An emergency existing this act shall be in force from its passage.
