Chap. 98.—An ACT to Amend and Re-enact Section Sixteen of an Act
entitled an Act in Relation to the Public Printing and Public Printer,
approved March 80th, 1871.
Approved February 14, 1872.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the sixteenth section of the act entitled “an act in relation to
the public printing and public printer,” approved March 30th,
eighteen hundred and seventy-one, be amended and re-enacted
80 as to read as follows:
_ “§ 16. He shall cause to be printed, as soon as practicable,
eight thousand one hundred and one copies of the acts and
joint resolutions of the general assembly, and shall distribute
them as follows: Ten copies to each member of the general
assembly, from time to time, as they are printed; five unbound
copies he shall forward to each senator and delegate by mail,
as soon as practicable, after the adjournment of each session;
one hundred and twenty copies to the secretary of the
commonwealth, for distribution among the judzcs of the court
of appeals, circuit, hustings and county judges of the com-
monwealth; one copy to each township clerk for the use of the C
township board ; one copy to each supervisor of each county * pe
in the commonwealth, and one copy to each county treasurer ;
and within forty days after the end of each session, he shall
deliver to the secretary of the commonwealth four thousand
copies, with tables and index complete, printed and bound as
required by law.
