Chap. 7.—An ACT for the Relief of E. 8. Gay, late Captain of the Public
Guard.

Approved December 22, 1871.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts is hereby authorized and directed
to issue his warrants on the treasury, payable out of any money
therein not otherwise appropriated, for one hundred dollars
and forty cents, to E. S. Gay, late captain of the state guard.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
