Due School Teachers.

Approved February 2, 1872.

1. Resolved by the house of delerates (the senate eoneur-
ring), Thatin public free school districts in which the state
school funds, apporfioned from the tax of eighteen hundred
and seventy, prove insufficient to discharge fully the habilties
of the distniets to teachers of public free schools taught therein
during the last scholastic year,—the board of education be.
and hereby is, authorized to use its discretion im allowing such
districts to apply a portion of the state founds, pertaining to
the current year, to the payment of the balances due to such
teachers.
