Chap. 44.—An ACT to Extend the Time for L. R. Edwards to Qualify as
Clerk of the Courts of Southampton County.

Approved January 30, 1872.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Littleton R. Edwards, who was elected clerk of the courts of
Southampton county at the general election held on the seventh
day of November, eighteen hundred and seventy-one, be al-
lowed till the March term of the county court of said county,
for the year eighteen hundred and seventy-two, to qualify and

give bond according to law as such clerk.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
