Chap. 368.—An ACT Providing for the Payment of Dr. F. B. Wat-
kins for Services as a Member of the Board Appointed by an Act of
Assembly, entitled ‘‘ An Act to Provide Artificial Limbs for Citizens of
the Commonwealth who lost their Limbs in the late War.”
Approved March 26, 1872.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant on the treasury in favor of
Dr. F. B. Watkins, of the city of Richmond, for five hundred
and sixty dollars, on account of services rendered by him as a
member of the board appointed by an act of the general assem-
bly, passed the twenty-ninth day of January, eighteen hundred
and sixty-seven, entitled “an act to provide artificial limbs for
citizens of the commonwealth who lost their limbs in the late
war, said Watkins having never received any compensation
for said services, and that the said sum of five hundred and
sixty dollars be paid out of the appropriation made for a simi-
lar purpose by acts of the general assembly, approved Novem-
ber first, eighteen hundred and seventy.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
