Chap. 75.—An ACT to regulate, and to provide open seasons for, the hunting and
trapping of foxes in the county of Frederick. [S B 67]

1. Beit enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, as follows:
Section 1. There shall be an open season for the hunting of foxes
in the County of Frederick during the months of November, Decem-
ber, January and February of each year, during which open season
foxes mav be shot. and mav he hunted with firearms and dogs. or
either, without reference to whether or not there is snow on the
ground.
Section 2. There shall be an open season for the trapping of foxes
in the said county from the fifteenth day of November of each year
to the thirty-first day of January of the following year, both inclusive.
Section 3. It shall be lawful in the said county for landowners
to shoot foxes and to cause same to be shot, and to hunt foxes and
cause the same to be hunted with firearms and dogs, or either, at
any time during any year on their own lands whether or not there
is snow on the ground.
Section 4. The provisions of this act shall not relieve any person
from the necessity of securing proper licenses to hunt and trap, or
either, as required by general law, nor from the necessity of complying
with other applicable provisions of general law not in conflict with
this act.
