Chap. 360.—An ACT for the Relief of James W. Andrews & Company.
Approved March 26, 1872.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant on the treasury, payable out
of any money therein not otherwise appropriated by law in
favor of James W. Andrews & Company, of the city of New
York, for the sum of five hundred and eighty-eight dollars and
fifty cents, with interest thereon at the rate of six per centum
per annum from the third day of April, eighteen hundred and
sixty-five, until paid; and for the further sum of six dollars and
eighty-eight cents, costs expended by said James W. Andrews
& Co., that being the amount of a judgment rendered in the
circuit court of the city of Richmond on the eleventh of July,
eighteen hundred and seventy in favor of said James W.
Andrews & Co., against the auditor of public accounts.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
