1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That
the concrete bridge across Big Reed Island Creek about six miles
east of the town of Hillsville in Carroll County, on State Highway
designated United State Highway Number two hundred and twenty-
one, be, and the same is hereby, named and designated as the “‘William
D. Tompkins Memorial Bridge’, and the State Highway Commis-
sioner is directed to mark the same accordingly.
