Chap. 347.—An ACT to amend and re-enact Chapter 284 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Virginia, 1930, authorizing the Councils of cities and Boards of
Supervisors of counties to make appropriations for the relief of police officers
totally and permanently disabled by injury received in the line of duty, so as
to authorize the Councils of cities and Boards of Supervisors of Counties to
make appropriations for the relief of firemen totally and permanently disabled
by injury received in the line of duty. [S B 292]

1. Beit enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
incil or other governing body of any city or town, and the board of
ervisors of any county, shall have authority, in its discretion, to
ke monthly appropriations for the relief of any police officer, special
ice officer or fireman totally disabled, either temporarily or per-
nently by injury received while actually in the performance of the
