Chap. 3.—An ACT validating, ratifying, approving and confirming the creation of
Sanitary District No. 5 in Henrico County, Virginia, as of the date of such crea-
tion, and all proceedings taken for and relating to such creation as of the date
of such proceedings. [H B 2]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That all
ceedings taken, prior to the first day of January, nineteen hundred
d forty, in the Circuit Court of the county of Henrico, in the State
Virginia, or before the judge thereof, for and relating to the creation
Sanitary District Number Five in Henrico county, Virginia, the
tes and bounds of which sanitary district are as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of Lakeside Avenue or Hermitage
Road with north bank of Upham Brook and following along the
north and west bank of Upham Brook in an easterly, northerly
and easterly direction to intersection with Beacham Run, thence
along the western bank of Beacham Run in a northerly direction
to the north property line of Stuart Ridge Addition; thence
westerly along said north property line of Stuart Ridge Addition
to a point 200 feet east of the east line of Brook Road; thence
northerly and parallel to Brook Road to the north line of Beaufort
Avenue extended; thence westerly along the north Jine of Beaufort
Avenue to the west line of Golf View Avenue; thence along the
west line of Golf View Avenue in southerly direction to the Lake-
side Golf Club property line; thence westerly along said Golf Club
property line to the west bank of North Run; thence in a westerly
direction along North Run to Cat Tail Branch; thence westerly
along south bank of Cat Tail Branch to intersection with a line
parallel to and 200 feet west of State Route No. 4;

Thence southerly and parallel to State Route No. 4 to the north
bank of Upham Brook;

Thence easterly along the north line of Upham Brook to the point
of beginning.”’

published, and hearings held and orders made or entered by said
irt, or the judge thereof, in any such proceedings, be and the same
hereby validated, ratified, approved and confirmed as of the date
the taking of such proceedings, and of the several steps therein,
withstanding any defect, omission, or irregularity in such proceed-
s or in the steps therein, or in any such petition, notice, hearing or
er, and notwithstanding any lack of power, other than constitu-
tional, of the said court or judge, to make or enter any such order, and
the said Sanitary District Number Five, Henrico County, Virginia,
créated by the order of the Circuit Court of Henrico County in this
State, or the judge thereof, and the legal existence of the said Sanitary
District Number Five, Henrico County, Virginia, from and after the
entry of such order, be and the same are hereby validated, ratified,
approved and confirmed, and said Sanitary District is hereby found
and declared to be a valid Sanitary District of said county.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its pas-
sage.
