Chap. 166.—An ACT to amend and re-enact Sections 979, 982 and 983 of the Code
of Virginia, relating to the Virginia State School for Colored Deaf and Blind
Children, so as to abolish the board of visitors of said school and place the same
inder the control, management and supervision of the State Board of Educa-

. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That

ection 979. The Virginia State School for Colored Deaf and
d Children shall be, and is hereby continued.
ection 982. The Board of Visitors of the Virginia State School
Colored Deaf and Blind Children is hereby abolished, and all
rights, powers, authority and duties heretofore conferred and
sed by law upon the said board of visitors are hereby transferred
vested in, and imposed upon the State Board of Education as

ection 983. The Virginia State School for Colored Deaf and

ww. Each fiscal year of said institution shall end on the thirtieth
of June, to which time the accounts of the institution shall be

of October, deliver to the Governor, for transmission to the

its receipts and disbursements for the said fiscal year.
Be it further enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia,
section nine hundred and eighty-four of the Code of Virginia
