Chap. 123.—An ACT to authorize the State Hospital Board to sell or lease a certain
small parcel of the land occupied by the Western State Hospital, at Staunton,
to such person and on such terms as said board may deem proper. [H B 182]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
State Hospital Board be, and it is hereby, authorized and empowered
to sell all that part of the land occupied by the Western State Hospital,
at Staunton, which lies on the western side of New Greenville Avenue,
or United States Highway Route eleven, as now located, to such
person, at such price and upon such terms as it may deem proper, or
in its discretion, to lease said parcel of land to such person, for such
time, and upon such terms as it may deem satisfactory, and in case
of the sale thereof, to deliver to the purchaser by apt and proper
deed therefor, with special warranty of title, and in case of the lease
thereof, to deliver to the lessee a proper contract of lease, such deed,
or contract, as the case may be, to be executed for and on behalf of
the Commonwealth of Virginia, by such person or persons as may
be thereunto authorized by said board.
