Chap. 266.—An ACT to Authorize the Bourd of Supervisors of Norfolk
and Henrico Counties to Increase the Salaries of the Judges of Said
Counties.

Approved March 21, 1872.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the board of supervisors of Norfolk and
Henrico counties by a two-thirds vote of said board to increase
the salary of the judge of the county court of said county, so
that the aggregate salary paid said judge by the state and
county shall not exceed two thousand dollars; said increase of
salary to be a charge upon and to be paid out of the county
levy.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
