Chap. 248.—An ACT to Amend and Re-enact Section 10 of Chapter 1!
of the Code of Virginia, (Edition of 1860), with Regard to Pay of
Clerks of Court of Appeals and of the Circuit Court of Richmond. as
Amended by Chapter 359, Acts 1869-70, Approved October 31st, 1870.

Approved March 21, 1872.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That section ten
of chapter fourteen of the Code of Virginia edition of
eighteen hundred and sixty, with regard to pay of clerks of
court of appeals and of the circuit court of the city of Rich-
mond, as amended by chapter three hundred and fifty-nine of
the acts of 1869-70, approved October thirty-first, 1870, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 10. The clerk of the court of appeals at Richmond, one
thousand dollars; and the clerks of said court at Staunton and
Wytheville, five hundred dollars each. The clerk of the cir-
cuit court of Richmond, two hundred dollars.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
