Chap. 438.—An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia, by adding thereto a new
section, numbered 3774(1), relating to compensation of members of the State
Corporation Commission. [S B 35]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new section, num-
bered thirty-seven hundred and seventy-four (1), relating to compen-
sation of members of the State Corporation Commission.

Section 3774(1). Members of the State Corporation Commission.
—The Chairman of the State Corporation Commission shall receive an
annual salary of eight thousand two hundred dollars; each other mem-
ber of the State Corporation Commission shall receive an annual salary
of eight thousand dollars. The said salaries shall be paid out of the
State treasury in semi-monthly installments.

2. This act shall be in force on and after July first, nineteen hun-
dred and thirty-eight.
