Chap. 411.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3422 of the Code of Vir-
ginia, as heretofore amended, relating to unauthorized practice of law and
penalties therefor, and to repeal an act entitled “An act to extend the time
within which a person to whom license had been issued prior to March 15,
1918, to practice law in Virginia, but who had been prevented from qualify-
ing and commencing said practice within two years after the granting of
said license by his entry into the military or naval service of the United
States may qualify and commence said practice without further examina-
tion”, approved February 17, 1920. [fH B 140]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
thirty-four hundred and twenty-two of the Code of Virginia, as here-
tofore amended, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 3422. Penalty for practicing law without being authorized
or licensed:—If any person shall practice law without being duly
authorized or licensed, he shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
2. Be it further enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That
an act entitled an act to extend the time within which a person to whom
license had been issued prior to March fourteenth, nineteen hundred
and eighteen, to practice law in Virginia, but who had been prevented.

service of the United States may qualify and commence said practice
