Chap. 35.—An ACT to amend an act. entitled “an act to create a State Commis-
-sion on Conservation and Development; to prescribe its powers and duties;
to vest it with powers and duties now vested by law in the Water Power
atid Development Commission, the State Geological Commission, the State
Geological Survey, the office of the State Geologist, and the office of the
State Forester; and to vest it with power to condemn and acquire land and
other property for public park purposes”, approved March 17, 1926, as hereto-
fore amended, by adding thereto a new section, numbered l-a, changing the
name of the State Commission on Conservation and Development to “Virginia
Conservation Commission”. [fH B 6]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That an
act entitled an act to create a State Commission on Conservation and
Development ; to prescribe its powers and duties; to vest it with powers
and duties now vested by law in the Water Power and Development
Commission, the State Geological Commission, the State Geological
Survey, the office of the State Geologist, and the office of the State
Forester; and to vest it with power to condemn and acquire land and
other property for public park purposes approved March seventeenth,
nineteen hundred and twenty-six, as heretofore amended, be amended
by adding thereto a new section numbered one-a, which new section shall
read as follows:

Section l-a. The name of the State Commission on Conservation
and Development is hereby changed to “Virginia Conservation Com-
mission,” and the said State Commission on Conservation and Develop-
ment shall hereafter be known and designated for all purposes as the
“Virginia Conservation Commission.”
