Chap. 349.—An ACT to authorize and empower the Commission of Game and
Inland Fisheries, subject to the approval of the Governor, to release, quit-
claim, sell, transfer and convey all right, title and interest of the Common-
wealth of Virginia and of the said Commission in and to certain lands,
together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, located in the county
of Pittsylvania. [H B 334]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries be, and it is hereby author-
ized and empowered, subject to the approval of the Governor, to
release, quit-claim, sell, transfer and convey unto the county of
Pittsylvania or its successor in title, by proper deed or instrument
signed and executed by the chairman of the Commission of Game
and Inland Fisheries, or such other person or persons as shall be
authorized by the said commission, without consideration, all right,
title and interest of the Commonwealth of Virginia and of the Com-
mission of Game and Inland Fisheries in and to that certain piece or
parcel of land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, lying in
the county of Pittsylvania, previously known as the county poor farm
of the county of Pittsylvania, referred to and more particularly de-
scribed in chapter one hundred and one of the Acts of the General
Assembly of nineteen hundred and thirty-four, approved March tenth,
nineteen hundred and thirty-four, by which act the board of supervisors
of the county of Pittsylvania was authorized and empowered to lease
and turn over to the State of Virginia certain real estate with its
appurtenances, to be used by the Commission of Game and Inland
Fisheries for the purpose of propagation and preservation of game
birds, game animals and fish.
