Chap. 202.—An ACT to Anthorize the Sale of the State’s Interest in the
Bridge across James River, at Lick Run, in the County of Botetourt.

Whereas, the bridge across James river, at Lick run, in the
county of Botetourt, has not paid any dividends to the state
since the year eighteen hundred and sixty one, and the same is
how going into dilapidation and needs repair, and it may be
to the interest of the state that the same should be sold imme-
diately: therefore, °
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the board of
public works be and they are hereby autkorized, in their dis-
cretion, to make sale, either publicly or privately, of the state's
interest in the bridge aforesaid, for the best price they can
obtain, payable in the bonds of the state at their par value.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
