Chap. 242.-An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new
section numbered 5106-a limiting requirements as to alleging or proving
offer of reconciliation in certain suits for divorce. [S B 276]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new section num-
bered section fifty-one hundred and six-a, which new section shall
read as follows:

Section 5106-a. It shall not be necessary, in any suit for divorce
from the bond of matrimony or from bed and board upon the ground
of abandonment or desertion, to allege or prove an offer of recon-
ciliation.
