Chap. 153.—An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new
section numbered Section 3665, to provide for the appointment of a harbor-
master for the port of Reedville, in the county of Northumberland and
define his jurisdiction, powers and duties, and to provide for his compensation
and for fees to be charged by him. [H B 317]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new section num-
bered Section thirty-six hundred and sixty-five, which new section shall
read as follows:

Section 3665. The circuit court of the county of Northumber-
land shall appoint a harbor-master for the port of Reedville, in said
county, whose jurisdiction shall extend over the waters of Cockrell’s
creek, in said county. The harbor-master for the port of Reedville
shall be subject to the provisions of the general laws of Virginia
concerning harbor-masters. The fees to be charged shall be the same
as are charged at the port of Norfolk.
