Chap. 109.—An ACT to authorize the Commission of Fisheries to dredge clams
in polluted areas for replanting on public clamming grounds. [H B 236]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Commissioner of Fisheries of Virginia shall have authority to dredge
clams or have the same dredged in polluted areas for the purpose of
replanting the same on public clamming grounds which have been
or which may thereafter be set aside.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its pas-
sage.
