Chap. 109.—An ACT for the Relief of Frederick Griffith, of the County
of Westmoreland.
Approved February 21, 1872.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant on the treasury, payable out
of any money therein not otherwise appropriated by law, in
favor of Frederick Griffith, of the county of Westmoreland,
for the sum of forty-one dollars and fifty cents, that being the
amount which has been expended by said Frederick Griffith in
apprehending and securing John Bryant, a fugitive from jus-
tice, who was confined in prison at Leonardtown, Maryland,
and conducting the same to the jail of Westmoreland county.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
