Chap. 378.—An ACT to ratify and approve the boundary line between Virginia
and the District of Columbia as determined and described by the District of
Columbia-Virginia Boundary Commission; to establish and declare the said
line as the boundary between Virginia and the District of Columbia when
ratified by the Congress of the United States; and to authorize the Governor
to cooperate in having the said line surveyed, marked and documented.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
boundary line between Virginia and the District of Columbia as deter-
mined and described by the District of Columbia-Virginia Boundary
Commission in its report made to the General Assembly of Virginia
during the present session and printed as Senate document number
five, and in its report to the Congress of the United States, printed
as House document number three hundred and seventy-four, seventy-
fourth Congress, second session, be and the same is hereby, ratified
and approved as a just and a fair settlement of the disputed boundary,
and that the line be established and declared to be a true representa-
tion of the said boundary between Virginia and the District of
Columbia when the same shall have been ratified by the Congress of
the United States.
When the said line shall have been ratified by the Congress of the
United States, the Governor is hereby authorized and empowered to
cooperate with the United States and the appropriate ¢~>artments or
agencies thereof in having the said line properly sur, ed, marked
and documented on the ground with sufficient points insure that
it may be readily recognized and restored if destroye
