Chap. 363.—An ACT to authorize the county school board of certain counties to

pay its members an annual salary of not in excess of three hundred dollars,

in lieu of per diem. [H B 542]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
county school board of any county in this State having a population
of fifty-five thousand or more according to the last preceding United
State census, may, in lieu of a per diem, pay each of its members an
annual salary of not in excess of three hundred dollars payable in
equal monthly instalments.
