Chap. 315.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled “An act to prevent
the trapping of foxes in the counties of Albemarle, Nelson and Amherst,”
approved March 16, 1920, so as to omit from such act the county of Amherst.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That an act
entitled “an act to prevent the trapping of foxes in the counties of
Albemarle, Nelson and Amherst,’ approved March sixteenth, nineteen
hundred and twenty, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to trap foxes in the
counties of Albemarle and Nelson except during the month of Novem-
ber in each year.
Section 2. Those who trap foxes shall visit their traps once every
day, and release any dog or dogs, or other domestic animals and fowl
that may have been caught in said traps, and be liable for all damages
done by traps to dogs, domestic animals and fowl.
Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this act
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction fined
not less than ten nor more than fifty dollars for each offense.
