Chap. 306.—An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new
section numbered 3424-b, requiring clerks of courts in which revocation or
suspension proceedings against attorneys at law are had, or in which an
attorney is convicted of a felony, to give notice thereof to the clerks of the
Supreme Court of Appeals and to the secretary of the Virginia State Board
of Bar Examiners. [H B 511]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new section num-
bered thirty-four hundred and twenty-four-b, which new section shall
read as follows:
Section 3424-b. Whenever the license to practice law of any attor-
ney is revoked or suspended, and whenever any attorney is convicted
of any felony, the clerk of the court in which the proceeding to revoke
or suspend such license is had, or in which any attorney is so convicted,
shall transmit forthwith a certified copy of the order of revocation,
suspension or conviction, as the case may be, to the clerks of the Su-
preme Court of Appeals of Virginia at Richmond, Wytheville and
Staunton, and to the secretary of the Virginia State Board of Bar
Examiners.
