Chap. 251.—An ACT to appropriate $5,000.00 to the State Commission on Con-
servation and Development to be used in payment of expenses incident to the
participation by and on behalf of the State in the dedication of the Shenan-
doah National Park. [S B 185]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That there
be, and is hereby, appropriated to the State Commission on Conserva-
tion and Development, out of any money in the State treasury not
otherwise appropriated, the sum of five thousand dollars for the pur-
pose of paying expenses incident to such participation in the dedica-
tion of the Shenandoah National Park, as the State Commission on
Conservation and Development may deem proper by and on behalf of
the State, such payments to be made by the Treasurer on warrants of
the Comptroller, issued upon vouchers signed by the chairman of the
said commission, or by such other person or persons as shall be desig-
nated by the said commission for such purpose.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
