Chap. 250.—An ACT to authorize the commission on Conservation and Develop-
ment to expend, not to exceed fifteen hundred dollars, under the direction of
the Manassas Battlefield Park Association, Incorporated, to pay expenses of
the celebration of the seventy- “fifth anniversary of the Battle of Manassas.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
State Commission on Conservation and Development be, and it is
hereby, authorized to expend out of money appropriated to said com-
mission for the biennium beginning July first, nineteen hundred and
thirty-six, the sum of fifteen hundred ($1,500.00) dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary, to be used for the purpose of paying the
expenses of the celebration of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the
Battle of Manassas, to be held at Manassas, Virginia, on the twenty-
first day of July, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, under the direction
of the Manassas Battlefield Park Association, Incorporated, including
the costs of all manouevres, sham battles, and costs of transporting
and feeding troops, State and United States, and cadets participating
in such celebration.
