Chap. 159.—An ACT to validate, ratify, approve and confirm bonds issued by the
County School Board of Warwick County, at a special election heretofore
held on November 5, 1935, authorizing the issuance of such bonds by said
County School Board, for the purpose of erecting, furnishing and equipping
a school building in Warwick County, Virginia, under the rules and regula-
tions prescribed by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
special election held in the county of Warwick, Virginia, on Novem-
ber fifth, nineteen hundred and thirty-five, pursuant to an order en-
tered by the circuit court for the county of Warwick, upon the res-
olutions of the County School Board of Warwick County, Virginia,
dated December second, nineteen hundred and thirty-five, and the
resolution of the board of supervisors of Warwick county, passed
on November fifth, nineteen hundred and thirty-five, on the question
of the issuance of bonds by the County School Board of Warwick
county on the credit of the said county for the sum of sixty-six
thousand dollars, consisting of sixty-six bonds of one thousand dol-
lars each, numbered consecutively from one to sixty-six, both in-
clusive, to be dated December sixteenth, nineteen hundred and thirty-
five, bearing interest at the rate annually of three and one-half per
centum per annum, payable semi-annually, payable on or before
twenty-two years from the date thereof, in which bonds the full faith
and credit of Warwick county is pledged for their payment, and in
which said bonds the County School Board of Warwick county did
expressly reserve the right to retire (anticipate the payment of) at
least three thousand dollars of said bonds annually, which said bonds
were issued for the purpose of erecting, furnishing, and equipping
a school building in Warwick county, Virginia, under the rules and
regulations prescribed by the Federal Administration of Public
Works, and the issuance of said bonds by the said school board, be
and the same are hereby validated, ratified, approved, and confirmed,
notwithstanding any defect or irregularity in the calling or holding
of said election, or in the resolutions of the said school board and
board of supervisors. And the said bonds are hereby declared to
be binding and valid, and the binding obligations of the County
School Board of Warwick county, Virginia, for the payment of
which the full faith and credit of the county of Warwick, Virginia,
is hereby irrevocably pledged.
And be it further enacted that all resolutions of said school board
and board of supervisors and the orders of said circuit court, here-
tofore passed and entered in relation to or on account of said bond
issue of sixty-six thousand dollars for the purposes hereinbefore
set forth, are hereby validated, ratified, approved and confirmed ;
and any conditions, reservations, options and rights embodied in
and made a part of said bonds shall be in full force and effect, valid
and binding; as if said conditions, reservations, options and rights
were set out in full in this act. But nothing in this act shall be
construed to repeal or effect any special or local act validating any
bonds, if any, heretofore issued by the said school board of Warwick
county, Virginia, or by the county of Warwick, Virginia.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
