Chap. 143.—An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding to chapter 175
thereof a new section to be numbered section 4353-a, relating to investments
of industrial sick benefit companies. [S B 169]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding to chapter one hundred and
seventy-five thereof a new section to be numbered forty-three hundred
and fifty-three-a, which new section shall read as follows:

Section 4353-a. Investments——Every domestic industrial sick ben-
efit company shall invest its assets only in securities or other property
permitted by the laws of this State for the investment of the assets of
life insurance companies.
