1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
forty-one hundred and eighty-four of the Code of Virginia, as hereto-
fore amended, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Section 4184. Records of all Fires; When Open to Public Inspec-
tion—The State Corporation Commission shall keep in its office, a
record of all fires occurring in the State, together with all facts, statis-
tics and circumstances, including the origin of the fires, which may be
determined by the investigations provided for in this chapter. Such
records shall not be open to public inspection, except in so far as the
commission shall permit otherwise.
