Chap. 133.—An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new sec-
tion, numbered 4902-a, providing that when a jury is required to be kept to-
gether, the court may for good cause permit one or more of such jurors to be
separated from the others, provided all such jurors be kept in charge of officers
provided therefor. [S B77]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new section, num-
bered forty-nine hundred and two-a, which new section shall read as
follows:
Section 4902-a. Whenever a jury is required to be kept together,
it shall be deemed a sufficient compliance although the court for good
cause permits one or more of such jurors to be separated from the
others, provided all such jurors, whether separated or not, be kept in
charge of officers provided therefor.
