Chap. 115.—An ACT to amend and re-enact Section 4246 of the Code of Virginia
relating to the annual report of the State Corporation Commission on insur-
ance companies in receivership, so as, among other things, to require the
filing of reports and other papers concerning receivership proceedings.

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
forty-two hundred and forty-six of the Code of Virginia be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 4246. Report to be Made by the State Corporation Com-
mission.—The commission shall, in its annual report, or in the report
of the Commissioner of Insurance and Banking, include the names of
the companies so taken possession of, or placed in the receivership by
a court in this State. Such annual report shall also include the names
and addresses of the receivers, a statement as to whether or not the
companies have resumed business or have been liquidated, and such
other facts as shall acquaint the policyholders, creditors, stockholders
and the public with such proceedings; and, to that end, there shall be
filed annually with the commission a report of the affairs of such
company in such form as the court may prescribe and all receivers of
insurance companies shall file with the commission copies of all reports,
petitions, court orders and other pertinent papers dealing with such
receivership proceedings.
