Chap. 52.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 65 of the Game, Inland Fish
and Dog Code of Virginia, relating to duplicate license tags. [S B 160]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
sixty-five of the Game, Inland Fish and Dog Code of Virginia, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 65. Duplicate license tags—If a dog license shall become
lost, destroyed or stolen, the owner or custodian shall at once apply to
the treasurer who issued the same for a duplicate license tag, presenting
the original license receipt. Upon affidavit of the owner or custodian
before said treasurer that the original license tag has been lost, de-
stroyed or stolen, he shall issue a duplicate license tag which the owner
or custodian shall immediately affix to the collar of the dog. The
treasurer shall endorse the number of the duplicate and the date issued
on the face of the original license receipt. The fee for a duplicate tag
shall be twenty-five cents, which shall be paid into the dog fund and re-
ported in the gross dog license collections.
