Chap. 31.—An ACT to declare the courthouse square, on which is located the
courthouse, clerk’s office, jail and other public buildings of Appomattox county,
Virginia, a part of each of the several magisterial districts of the county of
Appomattox, and to declare the courthouse square, on which is located the
courthouse, clerk’s office, jail and other public buildings of Halifax county,
Virginia, a part of each of the several magisterial districts of the pouty of
Halifax. [S B 99]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
courthouse square, on which is located the courthouse, clerk’s office, jail
and other public buildings of Appomattox county, Virginia, shall be a
part of each of the several magisterial districts of the county of Appo-
mattox.
And that the courthouse square, on which is located the courthouse,
clerk’s office, jail and other public buildings of Halifax county, Virginia,
shall be a part of each of the several magisterial districts of the county
of Halifax.
2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
