Chap. 270.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 204 of the Tax Code of
Virginia, relating to veterinary surgeons’ licenses. [H B 284]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That section
two hundred and four of the Tax Code of Virginia be amended and
re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 204. Every veterinary surgeon shall pay a license tax of
ten dollars, and no further revenue license shall be required of a veter-
inary surgeon by the State for practicing his profession in any part
thereof; providing, that nothing in this section shall be construed as
requiring a license tax of persons who confine their practice to castra-
tion, spaying or dehorning livestock.
