Chap. 162.—An ACT to make an additional appropriation for the expenses of the

I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
sum of sixty thousand ($60,000.00) dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money in the treasury
not otherwise appropriated, to defray the expenses “for legislating of
the State,” and shall be paid out in accordance with the provisions set
out in the general appropriation bill under the Legislative Department.

2. An emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its passage.
