Chap. 120.—An ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a new
section, which new section shall be known as section 3813-a, relating to the
vesting of legal titles, in receivership proceedings, to real and personal prop-
erty, under deeds or conveyances of the corporation, the validity of which is
subject to question. [H B 31]

I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That the
Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new section, which
new section shall be known as section thirty-eight hundred and thir-
teen-a, which new section shall read as follows:
Section 3813- -a. Decree in receivership proceedings to vest legal
title—In any suit hereinafter instituted for the purpose of the ap-
pointment of a receiver, as provided in the preceding section, and where-
in it appears that the corporation, after dissolution or revocation of
its charter but prior to the appointment of a receiver, caused to be
conveyed property, real or personal, by deeds or conveyances, the
validity of which is subject to question, a decree hereafter made con-
firming the validity of such deeds or conveyances, shall vest in the
respective grantees such title as appears under the aforesaid deeds
and conveyances, in like manner and to the same extent, as if the said
decree ordered such title to be conveyed to the parties and the con-
veyances were accordingly made.
