Chap. 107.—An ACT granting to the town of Chincoteague all right, title and
interest of the Commonwealth in a certain tract of marsh land lying between
the Chincoteague island and the mainland. [S B 310]

1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia, That not-
withstanding the provisions of section four hundred and twenty-one of
the Code of Virginia, there is hereby granted to the town of Chinco-
teague, for the establishment thereon of an airport, or landing field,
and for such other lawful municipal purposes as the town council may
deem expedient, all right, title and interest of the Commonwealth in
and to a certain tract of waste and unappropriated marsh land lying
between Chincoteague island and the mainland, in Accomac county, and
bounded as follows: on the north and east, by the waters of Chinco-
teague bay; on the north and west, by the waters of Weir Narrows; on
the south and east, by the waters of Black Narrows; and on the south
and west, by the road known as Chincoteague Causeway, and containing
approximately eighty acres.
